It was easier than i thought... maybe not
okayyy... Recollections was unforgetable, I shall summarize what happened :DConcert day:
SL wanted us to come to school EARLY on a SUNDAY MORNING for some last minute practise. I wanted to say I had church but thought the better of it :P So...... ate lunch at Macs (again) then it's concert time. :D
Disclaimer: If you have something... ANYTHING... else to do, I would rather prefer you to click the red X sign at the top right hand corner naw, coz the next 5-10 mins will be excruxiatingly boring. Ready? Here goes.
Where was i? Oh yeah, Macs. bused back to school with ming ren and spencer, they were quite funny actually, when ming ren asked everyone their birthplace. so bill was from taiwan, gary from N.korea XD, and Jeremy from Pakistan. ROFL
*fast forwarded to concert*
we were in our lines, getting ready to go on stage. The cold air hits me. Hard. One could hardly believe that there was such a dramatic change in temperature. We waited in our seats for the MCs to show up. I suddenly remember what Ben said," If you are scared, look at the guy beside you, he is terrified." so much for prep talk =D
MCs arrive, talk a load of crap, then we are supposed to tune. WHY IS THERE NO BLOODY SOUND?!? MORE AIR MORREEEE AIR I REMIND MYSELF. I blow harder, managing what seemed to me a squeak. Only after a few minutes could i play the tuning note out of sheer will. Well... it's time for kokokrunch.. i mean.. kokopelli, ladies and gentleman.
I figured that if i blow warm air into my clarinet it wouldn't be so flat =( big mistake. I held the note a fraction longer than usual. oppps.
The only piece i felt confident is Jericho cause there are lots of long note at the first part. my tone sure improved quite abit =)
It's only after MJ that i realised that the concert was about to end. Wow. That was fast. So MCs talked and blahblahblah, end of my first concert :D
